Here at Auto City we use Auto Check history reports.
Auto Check is a premium vehicle history report by Experian Group
Ltd. You probably know them best as the credit report people.
Their expertise give customers a comprehensive vehicle history
report including the exclusive Auto Check Score. It’s like a
credit score for your car. A 2009 market study found that Auto
check tends to report double the amount of accidents on vehicles
compared to Car Fax. Auto Check also provides more vehicle
history reports about cars from automotive auctions too.
Other main issues with CarFax are that they advertise to
consumers that the car history report is free and that
“reputable” dealers are the only ones that use Car Fax. In
reality, the reports aren’t free and the dealers that don’t use
Car Fax are still reputable. The bottom line is that their
deceptive marketing practices have landed them in legal trouble.
Research it and you will see for yourself. (Please read the
links below)
We are a reputable dealer that has been continually growing even
during these tough economic times and we will not do business
with Car Fax. We have been in business since 1989, a member of
the VIADA dealers association and currently have an “A+” rating
through the Better Business bureau. With 3 locations and over
250 vehicles we want a History report company we can trust. That
is why we provide them to our customer’s right here in the
showroom. So the next time you go to a car dealership make sure
you ask the salesperson “Show me the Auto Check”. We hope to
earn your business today and to our previous customers we’ve
earned, Thank you.
