I would say my overall experience of Auto City was excellent. This was my first time buying a car, and I bought a 2016 Chevy Cruze from them; the salesperson that helped me and my father was Tim. The car was very clean, and we were impressed with its condition for a used car. When it came to paperwork and questions, Tim was very helpful, and if he didn’t know the answers, he would find them, whether it was looking the information up online or talking to one of his associates. Prior to visiting Auto City in Portsmouth, my parents and I went to another dealership to look at cars, and it felt like I was being rushed to make a decision and pressured to buy a car from their lot. At Auto City, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all, and I ended up with the car I wanted. My dad loves everything about my car, and he felt that it was the right one for me.

Nice little used car lot found on cargurus. Got a sweet deal on a nice 9yr old 2015 ram. Very nice people matt and amber. Matt seems to be a 1 man show running the place. Very nice, Laid back, no stress atmosphere used car/truck/van shopping. Will definitely pass the word on to friends to check them out for a used vehicle and see what they got. They are kinda like a little hidden corner store but worth checking out. Thanks for my new lovely truck.... Dave.

I had a great experience from the start, Tim was very helpful but not pushy, he really knows how to talk to the customer. Friday afternoon Tim and myself made the deal for the KIA FORTE and I was going to come back on Monday to finish paying for it but I put the money together on Saturday so another person helped me finalize the deal. This was only done after I was assured that Tim would get all the commission. I would definitely recommend these guys to my friends, and the car is doing fantastic.

My wife and I were looking for a car for our son who turned 17 on the very day we arrived at Auto City. Matt and Tim were too incredible dealers. I've purchased many cars, but I've never had two businessmen so accommodating, loving, and that truly desired to see our son happy. Tim talked Benny through each car he inquired about. We planNed on making five other trips, but they were the first, and only dealership, we went to that day. A little while later and my son was driving off with his first car. A day that he will remember for the rest of his life. They never pressured us, they never haggled us, and they gave us the exact price that we asked for. I recommend everyone to come here to shop for a car. This is a great team of people. Matt answered all my questions about the car that I wanted and help me get the monthly payment that was comfortable for me. When I was ready to make a purchase, Tim explained the process on all the documents that I needed ahead of time to complete the deal.
I cannot forget Amber, she was very patient and waited for me after closing hours to get there to finalize the deal. Once I got there she had everything ready for me and I was in and out of the door with my new car.

I was driving by Auto City-as i often do-and saw this beautiful Cadillac. I stopped to give it a look, and couldn\'t believe the condition and mileage it was in; it seemed to be a true gem. I was greeted by Tim who walked me through the vehicles details and history and I soon made up my mind that this was the one! The level of service was top notch along with the overall quality of the dealership and inventory. I wasn\'t sure about how i wanted to purchase-finance or cash-so Tim directed me to Amber in finance who was extremely sweet and helpful in explaining what the best options where for me for my situation. Mr. Moore was an exceptional sales person. Very respectful. Very knowledgeable.. very helpful. I really felt like i wasnt being taken advantage of, and felt he had my best interest at heart. I found Auto City actually while looking for another dealership. When I walked in Tim was the only salesperson there, with about 5 other customers. That didn\'t stop him for taking a quick minute to see what type of car I was looking for. In about 10 minutes he had me test driving a vehicle. Tim was very patient in answering all of my questions, and there were plenty. On my way home the vehicle ended up cutting off on me. I instantly called Tim, and they got the vehicle towed, repaired and Tim even filled the gas tank up for me. I\'ve worked with some shady dealers who lack customer service skills, but Tim has made this experience smooth and easy. I will be buying a 2nd vehicle in the near future, and I will be returning to them. Thank you, Tim, for everything!
